Climate
Vegetation

There is vegetation and animal living in this desert. Even in the northern and central parts of Righ Jen, which has plain and swampy conditions, there is no vegetation. One-year-old hawthorns can rarely be seen, mostly due to the harshness and dryness of the area. Officially there is nothing there. And nothing is everything. In other words, everything comes from nothing. If you want to experience nothing, visit Rig Jen desert.

In 1900, a Swedish deserter named Son Houdin tried to cross the desert but was stopped due to salt marshes. He wrote his observations in the book Deserts of Iran. Alphonse Gabriel also tried to cross this desert, but he also failed. Finally, in 2005, Iranian desert climber Dr. Ali Parsa and his friends advanced to the center of the Rig Jan desert.

Desert morphology

In the south of Semnan, there is a saline river. Due to the annual evaporation and the presence of saline rock formations and salt domes and high groundwater levels in the south of the plain, the soils of this region are generally saline. It is mud-salt. This region is similar to other regions of the central desert of Iran in terms of structure, chino-logy and sedimentology. Alluvial materials and sediments that have been created by rivers leading to Righ Jan, which are mainly from the northwest to To the southeast, remain in the desert as small and large particles during storm seasons.
