Some very important points in traveling to the desert
There is temperature fluctuations in the desert during the day and night. The best time for hiking in the desert is at the beginning of the day (early in the morning) and afternoon, before sunset. Try not to walk in the desert in the middle of the day, avoid direct sun exposure. Plan carefully - even if your desert tour is a one-day trip, let your friends know your itinerary, destination map and, if possible, your desert route. Let them know when you return. Do not move in unknown directions without a map, compass or GPS. You can easily get lost due to the fact that the scenery in the desert is very similar.Carry plenty of water - One gallon of water per person per day is never enough in the desert. One gallon of water (equivalent to 4 liters) per person per day is definitely the minimum amount of water you should take with yourself.
wear long sleeve shirts and light-colored clothes. Be sure to bring sunglasses, sunscreen and a brimmed hat. During the night you may experience a sharp drop in temperature, bring extra warm clothes with you.
The first two months of spring and autumn are the best times to travel to Lut desert.
